Wolves v Sunderland: 1-0
Sunderland travel to Molineux under new management, after Martin O’Neill replaced Steve Bruce, who was sacked on Wednesday. Bruce, who was manager for nearly 100 games, over two and a half years had been struggling to pick up form and left them with only one win in eight, against Bolton. For me the fault had to be with failing to replace Darren Bent and Asamoah Gyan with a striker of similar attributes. Wolves, too, find themselves in trouble and it didn’t help losing 3-0 to Chelsea. They have 11 points and are only two points from the relegation zone. It is apparent that scoring is a problem for them as their top scorer in the league, Steven Fletcher, has just 3 goals to his name. I’m sure Mick McCarthy has highlighted this problem and is working on it. Should be very interesting to see how this game turns out but I think that Wolves edge it.

One to watch: Wayne Hennessey – made some brilliant saves last week and is one of Wolves best player this season

Aston Villa v Manchester United: 1-1
Poor old Aston Villa; it seems that they always lose to Manchester United and the head-to-head record looks like this: MU 29 D 9 AV1. The same amount of points separate Aston Villa from 7th and the relegation zone, 17. So Villa fans don’t be deceived by the place that you are in. Manchester United didn’t lose any ground on the lead as Liverpool earned a point against City. Should be tough for United and as a Chelsea fan (in case you didn’t realise) I hope that they slip-up again.

One to watch: Ashley Young – look out for the reception the former Villa player will get. Will it be like Bent’s?

Fairly easy draw for but saying that it is England

We though he was Finnish but he’s back! (Oh dear that’s quite bad, isn’t it). In case you missed the news, former F1 champion, Kimi Raikkonen, has returned to the sport after a couple of years elsewhere. He is one of five drivers to have won the championship, with Vettel, Button, Hamilton and Alonso being the others.  However it will be a tough year for him as he teams up with Lotus whose cars are very much behind the likes of McClaren, Ferrari and Red Bull. It will be hard but very interesting.
